Do you want help managing your diabetes?

Are you a type 2 diabetic, living in the UK and would like to understand how food and exercise affects your individual glucose levels? Are you currently using or perhaps considering using the free style Libre system? If so, then we would like to ask you to take part in our glucose analysis trial.

Glucose analysis trial
The aim of this trial is for us to help you get better control of your blood glucose levels.  We want to show you how your glucose reacts to food and exercise to give you a better insight to achieve the level of control that YOU want.

What will the trial involve?

We will undertake some data analysis of your blood glucose readings over a typical 2-week period whilst asking you to take some notes of your food intake and exercise/activity levels.  As part of the trial we would like to share this information with the other people in the trial so that we can learn from each other.

This is a free trial.  We have undertaken some analysis already which looks promising and would like to have a larger trial to test this.  We believe that we can present the blood glucose data in a more meaningful way to help people achieve the level of control that they want more easily.  Our ambition is help as many people as possible get the level of control they want.  This trail is the early steps in this.

Who are “we”?

We are a start-up company Blood Line Ltd who are working with some partners including Swansea University as part of this Trial.  Our business goal is to utilise the best technology that is coming onto the market for the benefit for the highest number of people with diabetes so that they can better control their health for the minimum cost.  The 2 business founders are experienced in developing technology start-up businesses, we have expertise in data analysis – and one of us is a type 2 diabetic.
